Our Elves arrived from the North Pole on Monday. Yes Elves. This year we have Twin Elves, a boy and a girl. They came with a note from Santa and a QR code to scan that linked to the top 20 Elf Names to help us pick out their names. Girls voted on a girl’s name and boys voted on a boy’s name. We named them Pepperflake (snowflake and peppermint mixed) and Twinkle.
We then made an elf craftivity for our bulletin board.
Today they had fun finding the elves.

Love the Elf ideas! I am also 2nd grade but it is a new grade for me this year. I love all of your technology ideas. What games do you have the kids playing on the ipads? Also love the QR codes but have not made very many myself. I will have to get with the ELF for next year since I feel like I am always behind, looking for new ideas for this year.
