In a pinch and need help on a lesson?

Elf Fun

Our Elves arrived from the North Pole on Monday. Yes Elves. This year we have Twin Elves, a boy and a girl. They came with a note from Santa and a QR code to scan that linked to the top 20 Elf Names to help us pick out their names. Girls voted on a girl’s name and boys voted on a boy’s name. We named them Pepperflake (snowflake and peppermint mixed) and Twinkle.

We then made an elf craftivity for our bulletin board.

Today they had fun finding the elves.

I’m guest blogging over at Who’s Who and Who’s New today so head on over to see more Elf in the Classroom Fun and get your FREE Elf Craftivity.

  1. Love the Elf ideas! I am also 2nd grade but it is a new grade for me this year. I love all of your technology ideas. What games do you have the kids playing on the ipads? Also love the QR codes but have not made very many myself. I will have to get with the ELF for next year since I feel like I am always behind, looking for new ideas for this year. I do have some of the same kids. Next year I will be 1:1, so will be looking forward to your ideas! Thanks for sharing! Jackie jmcmanam@w-sioux.k12.ia.us
