This product includes templates and instructions to teach your students to write with author’s purpose. Persuade, Inform, and Entertain. My students always struggled understanding author’s purpose when reading or hearing stories until I had them write 3 ways using each of the author’s purposes.
Students will write about Candy Corn in 3 ways. They first write a persuasive paragraph persuading someone to eat candy corn. Then they write an informative paragraph informing their audience with facts about candy corn. The last writing they do is a little entertaining story about candy corn where candy corn is the main character or somewhere in the story.
Each of the pages included in the product is in both black and white for printing and color for use in digital projects. You can share the pages to iPads, Chromebooks, etc.
