Christmas Robot Costume and Coding Activities

$7.00

This set includes of 3 different Christmas costumes for a Beebot robot and cards to cut out and put under a clear Beebot mat and instructions for how students will use the cards to do a coding activity/game. There is a reindeer, elf, and santa. The reindeer costumes includes 2 different type noses so you can make a regular reindeer or rudolph.

Jazz up your robot lessons with Santa pulling a bag of toys, or reindeer pulling a sleigh, etc. You could even have elf or reindeer races if you have multiple Beebots. The costumes can be printed on colored paper paper or on regular paper and colored. Patterns can also be printed on thicker paper for students to trace and make.

There are 6 different coding activities with directions to complete the game.

  • Feed The Reindeer
  • Load The Presents
  • Wrap The Gifts
  • Round Up the Reindeer
  • Sleigh Ride
  • Round Up the Elves/ Find The Most Elves

There are both easier and hard levels for a total of 12 different options depending on the age of your students. I use the easier for K-1 students and the harder for my second grade students. Students will code a Beebot to find different object cards, using strategy, some math skills, and coding practice to win the game. Each activity requires a clear robot mat, a beebot, and printed cards. A die is needed for some activities. Costumes are not required but it is fun and my students really enjoy seeing the Beebot dressed up in different ways.

The costumes can be printed on colored paper paper or on regular paper and colored with crayons or markers. Patterns can also be printed on thicker paper for students to trace and make.
