You will need an ipad, ipod, or digital device with a QR code scanner to scan the codes in this product for these Math Double Digit Addition QR code Riddle and Activities.
The pages in this set can be used with any math series or Double Digit Addition unit of study that you are doing with your class. It covers addition without regrouping and addition with regrouping
You can use the first pages as quick checks to see if your students know addition with and without regrouping before you start your unit, during your unit to check and see what they are learning, or after your unit as an assessment. Each quick check has 21 questions and an answer key. There are 2 checks for each: addition without regrouping, addition with regrouping and mixed with and without regrouping.
The QR hunts are a fun way to add a little twist to a worksheet. The students answer problems by adding the problem on their sheet and writing down the answer. After the sheet is completed they can roam the room to find the answer to their problem that matches what wrote down and scan the QR code which gives them a word to solve a riddle that is on their paper.

Students need to first write the answers on their paper for each problem. Then after completing the sheet they can roam the room to find their answer amount to scan. Then they need to write the word or words from the card that they scanned to help them figure out the riddles. You can have students all complete all the sheets at once or differentiate and give certain pages to certain students that need help in different areas of telling time.
