Learn all about Monarch Butterflies in a fun way with this fact find. Use to kick off a Monarch butterfly study or to end your unit of study as a review activity.

What Included:

• 12 butterfly fact cards (2 different versions of cards-one with color less color)
• students recording sheet to record the answers
• answer key for recording sheets
• full color recording sheet template that you can take a screen shot of and send to iPads by airdrop

How it Works

Teacher will hang cards all around the classroom. Do not want to put them all out in plain site so kids have to look a little for some of them. Students take a clipboard with the recording sheet and roam the room to find the answers to the questions.

Note: Each fact card has full color photos but they also print well in black and white. The reading on the card is pretty easy so it would probably be best for end of 1st, 2nd or 3rd.

All pictures on the cards were taken by me when we raised Monarch butterflies in our classroom in the past.
