“This is a double digit addition and subtraction with regrouping game that can be played 3 different ways: whole class, class partners or at a workstation. The same cards are used for each game so once you prepared them you can play any way you want or all three ways. There are 12 pages of cards of monsters for a total of 144 cards. Many of the answers will be in the hundreds so students need to understand regrouping pretty well to play. It would be great regrouping practice for 2nd, 3rd and even review for 4th.
There are rules for each way to play with samples of game recording sheets for each game to figure out scores.
