We made Shrinky Dink ornaments for Christmas this year and last year for our parent gifts. The students make their ornament on the pattern (Click to download from google docs) with pencil and color with crayons or colored pencil then trace with sharpie.  Bake them for about 5-7 minutes and they turn out about 1/3 the size and really cute. We add a bent paper clip for the tree hanger or you can use a Christmas tree hook. They are pretty inexpensive to make since a pack of 10 sheets is around $6.00. You get 2 ornaments out of one sheet of Shrinky Dink paper. Be sure to get the Frosted Ruff N’ Ready so that they will be able to color on them with crayons and colored pencils. Kids love making them and are always excited to see how cool they look after they are done baking.
